3-Day Forecast, Feb. 24, 2020

This weekend’s mild temps sure felt great! There’s one more day to enjoy and then another round of snow arrives on Tuesday.

A large system will pass just to the south, catching southeast Minnesota with the northern fringes. A mix of rain and snow may start off Tuesday, but eventually only snow showers through the rest of the day. At this time I don’t expect to see a lot of snow accumulation, about an inch or less. But a shift in the track north could change that for us and will be watched closely.

Once the low passes through, temps will be cooler again however it will remain quiet. The long-range forecast shows no major storms.
