Some annoying snow welcomes us to the weekend. A little pocket of snow will pass through Friday afternoon and bring some light snow. It’s not a lot, most of us will be under an inch of accumulation, but it will hide any ice that’s underneath it.
Sunday’s Alberta Clipper seems to stay to the north. While Southeast Minnesota may only see some flurries, we won’t escape those winds. Gusts up to 37 mph may kick up some of that light snow and cause some blowing and drifting. Again, nothing we haven’t seen this winter (or others for that matter) but it’s worth pointing out as some ice may develop.
